ABOUT THE PORTUGALXPERT PARTNER PROGRAM

  • The Portugalxpert Partner Program enables you to generate income by referring customers to the Portugalxpert website. Every time you refer a customer to us, and that customer buys a tour, you earn a commission. We handle the transaction processing, the delivery of the tour, and the customer service with the customer directly. There is no additional work you need to do. We provide you with detailed reports of the sales from your site, or you can log in to your back-office system with your personal login to check the progress of your commissions directly. Every month, we’ll send you your commission payment.

  • Absolutely nothing! There is no sign-up fee, no ongoing membership fees, and all the resources we can give you to assist you with making sales are free too. This program isn’t about us taking money from you, it’s about us giving you money!

  • Very quickly and easily! Simply enter your name and email address here and you’re done.

  • Entirely up to you. We can provide you with the tools to promote the tours via emails to your clients, social media posts, links on your website, or physical flyers and posters. The more clients you send our way, the more money we send your way!

  • Currently the partner program only applies to purchases of our 'How to be Portuguese’ private and group tours.

  • We do it for you. And we create your own unique page on our site, so to start earning, you simply need to direct your clients to www.portugalxpert.com/yourbusiness and the code will track your referrals.

  • No. As part of our service, we regularly update our tours and products, occasionally offer discounted rates, and we take care of the after-sales customer service. Having the customers contact and billing information is crucial for us to be able to provide the level of customer service we offer. Let us take care of everything, while you sit back and enjoy the benefits!

  • No, but our sales currency is EUR, and your commission is calculated as a percentage of the EUR sales price of the tour. We do send you commission so that you’ll receive it in your own currency, however the amount you’ll receive will be dependent on the EUR exchange rate on the day of payment.

  • All good. You can place your tracking link wherever you like as it is connected to your email address and not the website you place the link on. If you’d like to setup multiple accounts to track your income separately, you need to create separate accounts with different email addresses.

REFERRAL FEES, TRACKING, PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

  • All links from your site to Portugalxpert contain a unique tracking identifier so that every time a user comes to us from your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made.

  • Portugalxpert will give you credit for any sales made within 60 days of the initial ‘click-through’ from your site to ours, or from the first time your referral lands on your unique landing page. This process uses Cookies to track your customer. There is, however, a scenario in which you wouldn’t receive the credit for the customers delayed purchase. For example, if a customer follows a link from your site to Portugalxpert and browses but doesn’t buy anything, and later follows a link from another Portugalxpert partner and then makes a purchase, the code from the second referring site would override yours.

  • We provide you with a special coupon code for your clients to use which entitles them to a 10% discount off the listed price. These discount codes don’t have any expiry dates. Your 10% commission is then calculated on the discounted price.

  • We pay our partners 10% commission on every tour sold, with no upper or lower limit on pay-outs. This is currently €13.40 per person on a group tour, or €40.40 per private tour after your clients 10% has been deducted. Commission rates are subject to change at any time.

  • We pay on the 15th of the month following the accounting period in question. So, for example, for any sales made in January (1-31 inclusive), your payout will be made on the 15 February. You'll receive payment on or shortly after that day, depending on weekends or holidays. Payments are made via Wise. If you don’t already have a Wise account, you can get one free by signing up here.

  • Portugalxpert has a full-refund, no-questions-asked policy. This is because we are supremely confident in our product. Still, on occasion, a client might choose to receive a full refund instead.

    If they do, and they were referred by you, we refund the customer the full amount that they paid, and we will reduce your next commission pay-out by the amount that we refunded the customer.

LINKING TO PORTUGALXPERT

  • We ask that if you are sending emails promoting Portugalxpert products, posting on social media to promote our partnership, or you are hosting a dedicated section or page of your website, that you use the official logos and banners that we will provide you to ensure consistency of our brand. Besides, that means no work for you!

  • We provide you with all the tools and support you need to sell Portugalxpert tours to your clients. We are entirely responsible for handling orders, delivery of the product, billing customers, paying your commissions, and managing customer service.

  • We are incredibly proud of our relationships with our partners. By adding the Portugalxpert logo to your page, you benefit from the brand recognition associated with that, and we in turn will put a link for your company on our ‘partners’ page, thus boosting your SEO.

    We do, however, have some legal guidelines we need to adhere to and its very important that our relationship is properly represented on your site.

    Please do not indicate that you are ‘part of’ Portugalxpert, or that you ‘work for’ Portugalxpert, or our parent or subsidiary companies.

  • Yes! But please do not alter our logo in any way.

  • When you sign up as a partner, you’ll receive an email with access to our Google Drive which has all the resources you need, which you’ll have unlimited and free access to, forever.

  • We have created images for you that represent our brand name and logo in a consistent fashion, for you to use without modification.

  • Absolutely. Descriptions for Portugalxpert – the company, and descriptions of the online learning options are all available for you to use in our Google Drive.
